Island Dental Opportunity
The Orcas Island Community Dental Program is looking for dentists, hygienists and dental assistants willing to come to Orcas Island to help support a new community dental clinic beginning this April. This clinic is for those on Apple Health or uninsured and unable to afford dental care. The need is for dental professionals to serve on the island for two to four days per month until more permanent staffing can be established. If you could provide even one day of service, your response would be welcome. This is an amazing opportunity to visit the gem of the San Juan Islands and help the residents of Orcas Island who currently lack access to dental care.
- There is a compensatory stipend, ferry cost reimbursement, and short stay accommodations for those who come to provide dental services.
- If you are retired and still licensed, semi-retired and would like a unique dental experience, or still practicing and looking to use your skills to help a very deserving populace, please reach out and sign up.
- Please direct any questions about this opportunity or if you would like to participate in the Orcas Island Community Dental Clinic, contact Kristen Rezabek (360) 370-7518.
